Kalbarri National Park
Kalbarri National Park is one of the most visited National parks in Western Australia covering over 186 000 hectares and only 6 hrs (590Ks)from Perth. Kalbarri National Park was established in 1996. Kalbarri National Park is located on the lower reaches of the Murchison River, which has cut magnificent red and white banded gorges(Known as Tumblagooda Sandstone) for over 80 kilometres, as it carves its way to the sea. Saved hopefully to become new World Heritage Area We have got some great news for you in this newsletter one being that the proposed development of a large marina and resort at Coral Bay on the Ninagloo Reef has been rejected. This is a great relief for all of us. more info..
